We only collect the information described below. We do not collect any other types of personal data.

Account data (only if you sign up)

If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address and display name through Google Firebase Authentication. We use this to create and manage your account and to sync your favourite songs across your devices. You can use the App without creating an account.

Your content

When you save favourites, we store your list of favourite songs in Google Firebase Firestore so it stays available on your account.

Analytics and usage data

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used and to improve it. This includes device identifiers, your advertising ID (AAID), in-app interactions, and diagnostic data. We use this information only to understand usage and improve the App.

We do not show ads, and we do not sell your personal data.

How We Share Your Information

We rely on the following service providers to run the App: Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, and Analytics) and Google Play Services. Your data may be processed on Google’s servers, which may be located outside India. You can read how Google handles data in the Google Privacy Policy.

We only share your data with these service providers, or when we are legally required to do so. We do not sell your personal data.

Data Retention

We keep your account data and favourites for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, this data is removed. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s standard retention settings.

Your Rights and Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly in the App under Settings → Delete Account. You can also request deletion by emailing us at gkplus.app@gmail.com.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Data Transfer

As we use Google services, your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside India. By using the App, you understand that your data may be transferred to and processed in these locations.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes means you accept the updated policy.
